Foyle Health at Work
The Vision of Foyle Health @ Work is "To contribute to the prevention of ill health in the working population through a settings approach to health improvement"
The Foyle Health @ Work Initiative is aimed at creating a healthier workforce in the Foyle area through targeting employers in all business sectors. It seeks to address the issues of coronary heart disease, stroke and cancer in workplace settings, as well as encouraging a healthier lifestyle for all.
We want to:
- Establish a support service for workplace health.
- Provide a programmes to address the identified need.
- Encourage employers to foster a positive attitudes to H@W.
- Promote the practice of a healthier lifestyle.
- Recognise good practice.
Employers who sign up for the scheme will have the opportunity to experience the benefits of healthy workplace practices, through the support and training provided by Foyle Health @ Work and their partners.
Foyle Health at Work Project Team will:
- Provide a continual quality support service.
- Consult with the employer on all aspects of training
- Agree to promote the workplace, as a healthy workplace.
