Government Leading by Example

Aim

– to provide guidance in the management of workplace health for organisations across the public sector in Northern Ireland, so that they can ensure that workplace health makes a positive impact on employee attendance and customer satisfaction.

Objectives

  • To identify best practice in the management of workplace health, including clear accountability and good governance.
  • To propose measureable outcomes from the management of workplace health for public sector organisations, including targets for employee assistance.
  • To develop an excellence model for the management of workplace health in the public sector that delivers identified outcomes.
